JC wrote a letter to the Rescue Helicopter Trust to find out about being a helicopter pilot when she grows up. Darryl sent Miss Cotman an email asking whether he could visit us.Today Darryl came! Darryl showed us his life jacket. It has a special string with beads that you pull to blow up the life jacket. SS got to wear Darryl's overalls, life jacket and the helmet. It was funny because the clothes were too big! Darryl let all of us try on his helmet. Thank you for coming to visit us Darryl! The children think that you have an awesome job!
For those of you who wonder what Happy Hour in Room 9 looks like!
We are learning about different occupations. Today we tried to think of as many different jobs as we could and sorted them by the letter of the alphabet that they started with.
On Friday we posted some of our letters that we have been writing. We are researching our future jobs and have written letters to people and organisations to find out more. We are hopeful that some people might reply to us!
