Today Room 9 ran the school assembly. We spoke into the microphone to tell people what was happening next. We also sang two of our favourite songs - School is Number One and Bad Hair Day. We had lots of fun and Miss Cotman, Mrs Mason and our parents were so proud of us!This week we are starting to learn about structures. Most of us don't really know what a structure is, but Miss Cotman has been showing us lots of short movie clips of structures being built. Today we watched some children building the tallest Lego tower in the world. Miss Cotman challenged us to build our own tower, but we were only allowed one piece of paper and one glue stick each. We had to think really hard of ways to make our towers stand up by themselves!
Dads, Grandads, Uncles and friends came to school to have a special bacon sandwich for breakfast. They then came and looked at what we have been doing in our classrooms. We loved having so many visitors and we hope you loved your bacon butties!
